After 2 days of failing to surrender to law enforcers, Mavado is currently being questioned by police.

The Anchovy police on Monday requested that Vado turned himself in after an incident on Friday night in Montego Bay where Mavado and his entourage allegedly assaulted a man and his son after they refused to move their vehicle so the singjay could avoid a pothole.
A machete was allegedly used to beat the man and his son who were treated at hospital following the brawl.
In relating news, a popular promoter from Montego Bay is currently in police custody after he tried to bribe the man who was allegedly assaulted by Mavado.
According to police reports, the promoter allegedly offered the man $500,000JA to drop the assault case and not drag it into courts.
Music News understands that police nabbed the popular promoter during an undercover operation in Montego Bay yesterday. Reports are that the complainants were expected to allegedly meet with the promoter at Shopping Centre in Montego Bay.
The promoter reportedly arrived in a white BMW but refused to make the exchange at the shopping centre and asked a taxi driver to carry him and the complainants to an undisclosed location. The taxi man involved was said to be an undercover police officer and the promoter was taken into custody.
The BMW, a firearm and the $500,000JA were also seized by the police. The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
