The Area Four Police are now searching for a man by the name of Omar Miller
who they say is seeking to take over the leadership of Western
Kingston.
Superintendent of Police Arthur Brown of the Kingston Western Division
told a press conference this morning that his team is moving to prevent a
violent confrontation in West Kingston as Miller seeks to retrieve
weapons that were issued in the lead-up to the bloody confrontation
between thugs and the security forces in May.
Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner of Police Gervis Taylor has appealed
to the public to assist the police in apprehending Miller and 15 other
wanted men, 10 who are wanted for murder and six for shootings.
Miller, better known as Andy Foul to his cohorts, heads a host of suspected gunmen for whom the police are searching.
Brown disclosed that Miller lived in Tivoli Gardens until the security forces operations in the community in May.
He described Miller as the interim leader of the Tivoli Gardens gang and
said he’s wanted for his involvement in several murders.
Miller is of fair complexion, medium built and is about 170 centimetres tall.
He has a gold tooth and wears plaited hairstyle.
The police claim that this is being resisted by the gang members and violent confrontations are expected as a result.
Superintendent Brown also listed Collin Hugh Brooks and Ricardo Wright
both from South St. Andrew among the list of those wanted.
Wright is said to be vying for the leadership of the Singer Gang in Arnett Gardens.
Another name which featured prominently on the Most wanted List is Christopher Linton otherwise called Dog Paw.
Linton, 24, is 177 centimetres tall, thick lips, bushy eye brows and wide nostrils.
