Dancehall giant Bounty Killer along with former police officer, Calis Bowen appeared in Gun Court yesterday which marks the beginning of their gun trial.

Both men face charges of unlawful wounding and illegal possession of firearm for an incident which took place in September 2007 on St. Lucia Ave in New Kingston.

According to reports the victim who’s an off duty police officer was travelling along St. Lucia Avenue when he pounced upon a roadblock which was consisted of several vehicles. The off duty officer then flash his
headlamp several times signaling for them to move their vehicles. The
situation however got out of control with the men attacking the officer.

The off duty officer also reported that several shots were echoed; he also stated that a gun was pointed in his face by Mr. Rodney Pryce AKA Bounty Killer.
