Bounty, Mavado, Beenieman for Stone Love Anniversary

Dancehall hotshots Bounty Killer, Beenieman and Movado are set to ignite the Stone Love anniversary stage on December 18.

The 'immortal sound', Stone Love, will be celebrating their 38th anniversary with an awards presentation. The year to year sound has returned to the place where it all began -- Portmore. The anniversary celebrations will be held at the Royal View Hotel, Port Henderson Road, Portmore.

When quizzed about the return to Portmore after so many years away, Winston "Wee Pow" Powell owner of Stone Love reiterated that Portmore was where it all began, and being the stalwarts in the business it was only fitting to return to the place where the

journey started. "It's definitely Portmore for sure!" We've always gotten excellent

support from the people in Portmore and St Catherine, so we decided to move closer to them," said Powell.

Despite carrying the tag as a hardcore down to earth sound system, Stone Love Anniversary will portray a more sophisticated experience this year where all the elements have been revamped such as improved security, top class decor as well as improved bar

amenities.

This calendar event attracts which has attracted fans from as far east as Japan will be taken on a musical journey by Wee Pow, Rory, Geefus, Billy Slaughter and Diamond, who will be joined by the other Stone Love selectors.

The event will not only feature the world immortal sound system as some of the biggest names in local dancehall will be on hand to entertain the masses.

Already confirmed to perform at the event are Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Mavado, Sizzla, Elephant Man, Ikaya and Toya .
