A misunderstanding, total disrespect and defamation of character is how dancehall deejay Elephant Man is responding after being accused of stealing electricity from Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS).

The “Energy God” who appeared in court yesterday tells Music News that he had an outstanding bill of 57 thousand dollars that was paid.

Elephant man’s battle continues with JPS as the dancehall deejay is expected to return to court on August 30 where the matter is set for mention.

Weeks ago news circulated among industry players that Elephant Man was missing after numerous attempts to contact the dancehall deejay proved futile.
