Dancehall deejay Elephant Man is scheduled to be tried in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrates Court on November 30 for stealing electricity.

Ele appeared in Court this morning where he was informed of the new trial date.

At his last court appearance in June this is what the “energy god” told Music News.

He was arrested at his home on Hillcrest Avenue in St Andrew in early June during an operation that was carried out by members of the Jamaica Public Service Company and the police.

They were inspecting JPS Co meters in the area. On closer inspection the team reportedly observed that the meter contained an illegal connection that went directly to an apartment the entertainer occupied.

Police said several appliances were connected to the illegal connection found in the apartment.
