Hold Yuh which peaked at number 77 stateside on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and at number 69 on the Canada Hot 100 chart hops onto the UK Top

Sean Paul was the last artiste to have achieved this feat. In 2006, Temperature entered and peaked at number 11.

Hold Yuh has already peaked at number 54 on the European Hot 100.

David M's Girls Night Out heats up rhythmic radio stateside

Singer David M's latest single Girls Night Out has been making an impact on FM radio for some months now. The accompanying music video has
already spent time at the top of local video charts.

Now David M's music is being exposed to a larger audience outside of Jamaica. Girls Night Out is currently enjoying stateside attention on
rhythmic radio stations.

In a recent interview, David M (real name David Minott) said he was quite pleased about the reception of the song outside of Jamaica. 'It's
a great feeling when you hear that your song is getting attention in
places that you never imagined. But the hard work has just begun', said
David M.

David M who studied music, and who has written songs for the likes of JC Lodge, Gregory Isaacs and Freddie McGregor, made his recording debut
with the inspirational track Lest We Forget.

He later followed up with Here Comes Your Life, which is the title track from his soon to be released album.

Susan Boyle's The Gift nicely wrapped in the number one spot

Last year Susan Boyle was the queen of the album charts. She repeats a similar feat with her recently released album The Gift.

The Gift unpacked its travelling bags in the number one spot on the UK album chart last weekend. She tops the Billboard 200 albums chart
simultaneously with 318,000 copies, in its first full week at retail.

Industry estimates suggests that Boyle will remain in the number one spot on the Billboard album chart next week, as her sophomore disc is
projected to sell an additional 300,000 copies.

Ironically, Boyle's debut album I Dreamed a Dream opened at the top of the Billboard 200 albums perch last year with first week sales of
701,000 copies. The set spent a total of six weeks in pole position.

Far East Movement's Like a G6 retains the lead

Multi-member Asian outfit Far East Movement is back in the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.

The collective's hit single Like a G6 removed Rihanna and Drake's What's My Name from the top of the pile after one week in pole position.

Like a G6 now clocks three non consecutive weeks at number one. It is the first song to hit number one and fall down the chart then to reclaim
the top spot, since TI and Rihanna's Live Your Life from 2008.

But even though What's My Name has been removed from the number one spot, Rihanna has more than one reasons to smile.

Her recently released album Loud is expected to make a big splash on the charts next week. She is also holding down the top of the UK Singles
chart with Only Girl (In the World).

Over on Billboard's European Singles chart, Only Girl (In the World) is number one for a second week. The track has so far dotted the top ten
charts in at least eight European countries.
