Lerone Clarke the new sprint start just came off Jamaica sprinting assembly line clocked a 10.12 to win the 100m. Mark
Lewis-Francis of Great Britain was second and third went to Aaron
Armstrong of Trinidad and Tobago.
Dorian Scott wins Jamaica’s second medal by winning a silver in the
men’s shot put. His throw of 20.19m, in finals gave him the silver medal
behind Canada’s Dylan Armstrong whose throw of 21.02m gave him the gold
medal as well the Games Record.

For a second I was thinking the
Commonwealth Games would be a bust without the likes of Asafa Powell,
Usain Bolt and Tyson Gay, it now seems I think too fast.
