FORMER Portmore Empire deejay Lisa Hyper is on the verge of completing her debut album, but her intense work ethic has triggered some serious health complications for the deejay.
She was hospitalised last week because of the intensity of the pain she has been experiencing from stomach ulcers.
The deejay confirmed her condition.
"I am suffering from stomach ulcers now and I had to go to the hospital last week because of the pain I was feeling. I have been working on the album, and during that time, I did a lot of smoking and drinking while listening to the riddim tracks and I was working so hard more time I forgot to eat... the doctors have advised me to take better care of myself," she said in a release.
The album is almost complete with several juicy tracks which cut across the genres of reggae, dancehall, rap and even pop.
"Mi ah go all out to make this album a success, I feel like every single pon the album is a hit, I swear to you... I am also hoping to do a combination with the Queen of Dancehall Lady Saw," she adds.
She also plans to shoot a medley video for her new singles which include Power on the Jam2 Production label.
