After spending almost a day behind bars, ‘Mavado,’ is once again free!
The gully side deejay was granted station bail in the sum of JM$50,000 on Labour Day. Mavado was charged along with three members of his entourage with malicious destruction of property.
Reports from the Runaway Bay Police are that the men reportedly damaged a Nissan motor car and a Toyota Tacoma motor truck during an altercation at a club in Runaway Bay Sunday morning. A truck with assorted liquor was also reportedly driven away during the incident.
Mavado and the 3 men are booked to appear in the St. Ann’s Bay Resident Magistrates Court on June 9 to answer to the charges. Meanwhile the other members from Mavado’s entourage are still being processed.
