POLICE SEEKS THE WHEREABOUTS OF MAVADO’S MANAGER

Mavado’s manager Julian Jones Griffiths says he’s surprised that he’s being sought by the police as they are aware of his whereabouts.

 

However, Investigators from the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) say they are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Vado’s manager Julian, who is needed in a case that is presently before the Montego Bay R-M Court.

 

According to the police several attempts have been made to locate Julian, including visits from police personnel to addresses listed for him. In addition, persons have been interviewed in an attempt to find him.

 

However, Julian told Music News that his attorneys have spoken to the police on several occasions and they are aware that he’s overseas on business and personal matters for some time.

 

Julian Jones-Griffith further claims that the police are also informed of his return date to the island.

 

The artiste manager is accused of perverting the course of justice and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice in an incident which occurred about 6:00 p.m. along Belmont Main Road, St. James on Friday, July 22.

 

The matter is currently before the court and one person has already been charged. The case is scheduled for Thursday, September 15.
