ROUNDING up his summer season, dancehall producer and artiste Sean 'Seanizzle' Reid is preparing to do work with American R&B act Ne-Yo.

Geared and amped over his latest projects and achievements, the past few months have undeniably been instrumental for the young producer and artiste who bagged several enviable gigs including performing with international R&B artiste Ne-Yo at the Ne-Yo and Friends event in Negril; co-producer credits for I Know You Want Me Remix with Dancehall star Mavado and US crooner Ne-Yo; debuting at Reggae Sumfest on Dancehall Night as well as litter of performance stints across the Caribbean.

Reid's buzz is set to continue with additional recordings and releases, juggling both caps as a producer and artiste. He also revealed more exclusive work with Ne-Yo. "After working on the remix track for I Know You Want Me, both camps decided it would be great to do some added work so that's currently in development and under wraps till its released. Definitely something to look forward to and I'm very happy with the movement."

In the meantime, Seanizzle has released the music video of his latest effort Another Yute Drop Again.

Teaming up with director Dameon Gayle from Roadblock Films, Seanizzle takes a soulful peek into the sordid effects of violence and the painful impact on those left behind to pick up the pieces.

"Since the video premiered on local television, the response has been tremendous. The message behind the song is relatable as people often lose their loved ones to crime and violence so the tune really connects to listeners," quips Reid.

"Also, with this track, I'm giving a different sound than what persons are used to hearing from me... this song has a more socio-conscious feel... a positive and powerful edge."

Seanizzle is also working on the production end, putting final touches on a new riddim, The Cure, from his Seanizzle Records camp. "Thus far we've completed recordings with Gyptian, Mr G, Tarrus Riley, I-Octane, Tnez, Bencil and Ikaya. It has a cultural and rootsy feel to it so we're pretty excited to see the response it will get when it's finally released."

The launch of The Cure will come on the heels of Seanizzle's latest effort, Sex On Di Beach riddim with tracks by the likes of Beenie Man, Jahvinchi, Tarrus Riley and ZJ Liquid.
