Embattled dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel said he is already reaping success from his newly launched Cake Soap.
The deejay told the Star newspaper that the first batch of Cake Soap sold out immediately after leaving the factory in Trelawny.
“Since we did the advert in the newspaper, the first batch, which was well over 2,000, has disappeared,” Vybz Kartel said. “We didn’t anticipate that the units would move so quickly.”
Vybz Kartel, who recently had a publicized split with his former business partner Corey Todd, said he will be shoring up production and promotion of the soap.
The Portmore Empire boss said the Cake Soap is certified by the Bureau of Standards and he will be using his image to promote the soap island-wide.
