Dancehall hero Vybz Kartel recently sat down with The Fader magazine where he dished out on a number of topics including his business aspirations and owning his artists.

In the interview that obviously took place prior to the recent fallout between Vybz and former business partner Corey Todd among other members of the Portmore Empire, Vybz Kartel said he owns everything about his artists.

“I sign all my artists. I sign all them recording, them publishing, them booking, them everything. If them eat, I gots to know about it. If they take a shower I gots to know about it.”

This statement from Vybz Kartel adds credibility to recent statements made by Jah Vinci and other former members of the Portmore Empire.
