Vybz Kartel will spend another Christmas, ring in the New Year and possibly celebrate his 37th birthday in jail cell.

The murder trial in relation to the death of Clive Lizard Williams has been put off until January next year.

The case was slated to get underway today, however it was put off until January 21, 2013. A reason was not given for the postponement; however his lawyer, Valerie Neita-Robertson is appearing in another murder case, which is entering its second week.

Vybz Kartel is also being charged for perverting the course of justice in relation to the murder of Clive Williams. He is to return to court on November 12.

Kartel who has been in custody since September last year, is also charged with the murder of businessman Barrington Burton.

That matter will again be heard on December 3.
