Benji Hype hopes 'Rave Everday' will connect with listeners

Fresh off his success with Google Bad Mind, featuring Laden, which remains a staple in local dances all over the Corporate Area, dancehall artiste Benji Hype is hoping his Rave Everday will follow in its shoes .

"Mi just want to big up Boom Boom, Foota Hype and DJ Sheldon who ah beat Google Bad Mind and Rave Everyday, dem a mek it happen in the streets," he said.

Google Bad Mind, which takes a not-too-subtle lyrical swipe at rival deejay Khago, hit the top ten of two major charts earlier this year and has received major endorsement from musical heavyweights and dancehall insiders like Bounty Killer.

Benji Hype plans to shoot the Rave Everyday video later this month."All girls who are interested can WhatsApp their pictures to 874-3900," Benji Hype said.

His other singles include It's Time featuring Ginjah for BH Records, another with Portmore-based College Boys Production called Mi No Care If Yu Gi It Weh and Evil People produced by Adrian Locke, on a rhythm that also features Bounty Killer's popular Mavado diss, A Who.

"Right now, mi ah go all out fi mek this happen. The people dem a show mi crazy love on Facebook and Twitter and that just encourage me to go harder, the sky is the limit," he said.
