Black Ryno releases tribute to Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm

Dancehall artiste Black Ryno has released a tribute to incarcerated deejays Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm. The song called, Dat Nuh Right, has the deejay chanting down Jamaica's system while reminiscing about the good times he had hanging out with Shawn Storm. He also used the song to call on ex-Gaza members to reunite and support Vybz Kartel.

In the song, Ryno deejayed, "Mi get fi realise sey judicial nuh sympathise, we haffi push on ... ghetto youth gwaan live the life, the system nuh right ... dem nah provide work fi nuh youth, all mi see a bare penitentiary a rise. Look wey dem duh Vybz dat nuh right, dat nuh right. Former Gaza come mi bredda and sister mek wi start come together, cause Addi a guh need the strength inna time like these memba sey him have sons mi bredda".

He continues, "Over the years, Shawn a my brother from different mother use to share dollars ... mi nuh wah nuh champagne fi pop, and mi nuh wah nuh car without top, bwoy nuh tell mi bout nuh strap (gun), mi want a skyscraper hotel to di top".

When contacted, Black Ryno said he still has respect for Vybz Kartel.

"Mi haffi big up Vybz Kartel same way nuh matta what," he said before the call was dropped.

Dat Nuh Right has been receiving positive feedback online and has received over 40, 000 views since its upload last Friday.

"Finally, somebody stand up. Mi Respect yuh fi this Ryno," one YouTube viewer said. While another commented "Real meds mi youth, ghetto need dem tune ya umbre stay focus Ryno see it deh yeahhhh"?

Vybz Kartel was recently sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams and is not eligible for parole until he has served 35 years. Shawn Storm also received life in prison and will have to wait 25 years before he becomes eligible for parole.

It was recently reported that Shawn Storm rejected a plea deal that would see him serving a three-year sentence. Shawn Storm is known for his single My Life where he promised to fix his mother's eye provided his music career was successful.
