The dancehall Singjay is expected to be extradited to the United States in approximately a month where he will be tried for absconding bail. Music News has learned that attorneys at law, KD Knight and Bert Samuels are working collectively in seeking a legal team for Busy once he’s in the United States. Shane Brown explains.
The request for Busy Signal comes approximately 10 years after it is said that he was allegedly implicated in a narcotics offence committed in Minnesota.
Busy Signal was on a tour in Amsterdam was picked up by the Fugitive Apprehension Team, United States Marshals and representatives of the British High Commission at the Norman Manley International Airport immediately after he stepped off a flight from the United Kingdom on Monday (21/05/12).
