CALI P has landed in jail following an extended tour of Europe.

The entertainer, who is originally from Guadeloupe, was arrested on Friday night right before his performance at an event in New Kingston. In a release, Cali P’s management apologized to fans for his no-show due to the arrest.

Following a search, Cali P was charged with possession of ganja and unlawful possession of property. Music News understands that the “Hotsteppa” entertainer was nabbed after the lawmen found him in possession of a phone that was reported stolen. The police also reportedly found a quantity of ganja.

Cali P is expected to face the court tomorrow (15/11/11) where the matter is set for mention.
