Captain Barkey shot dead by woman's ex-boyfriend

“Please, no!” a woman begged before her former lover shot her dead in the parking lot of a Bronx motel early today, police sources and witnesses said.

Blood-curdling screams woke up guests at the Holiday Motel at 3 a.m. when the woman’s ex-boyfriend allegedly pumped rounds into her companion for the night.

Sources identified the slain man as a raggae musician from Milwaukee, Wayne Hamilton, who goes by the stage name Captain Barkey.

After killing Hamilton, the shooter chased the woman, 38, to the back of the hotel. She pleaded for her own life before she too was shot dead.
