A Bob Marley drink scandal is brewing after several students at two New Jersey schools were reportedly made sick by the beverage.

Officials have since removed Marley's Mellow Mood named after reggae icon Bob Marley. The relaxation drink is promoted to reduce stress.

Also, the drink's nutrition facts say it may cause drowsiness and is not intended for children.

However, students at Satz Middle School and Holmdel High School could buy it on campus. Several middle school students were ill on Friday.

The company issued a statement in which it said it takes this situation very seriously.

It's unclear what the students' symptoms were.
