Dancehall artiste Demarco is now recovering after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident last night.
According to the artiste's publicist, Raymond 'Shadow' Small, the artiste was in the Westchester area of Portmore, when his motor vehicle hit a young man on a bicycle.
"Demarco had a series of performances last night and while on his way home, as he was about to turn the corner, a man on a bicycle rode out. This resulted in a head-on collision. The man was flung from the bicycle and both he and Demarco were rushed to the hospital," he told TheWEEKEND STAR.
Both Demarco and the man were treated for their injuries and were later released.
Demarco told heWEEKEND STAR that he was grateful to be alive.
"I'm very thankful that no one was severely hurt. Give God thanks fi life," he said.
In the meantime, the artiste is promoting the video for his latest single Good Book.
The deejay, who is also known for songs such as Lazy Body, I Love My Life and Ride, is also slated to headline the Montreal International Reggae Festival in upcoming weeks.
