Elephant Man’s ongoing court battle relating to charges of grievous sexual assault and rape is set for October 25.
The deejay’s bail was extended and hearing put off this morning (16.09/13) when he appeared in the Home Circuit Court.
The charges stem from an alleged incident at Ele’s St. Andrew home last year. Investigators said a woman filed a police report claiming that the “Energy God” sexually assaulted her. The police said detectives assigned to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse conducted investigations, which led to Elephant Man being arrested on January 30, 2012.
Following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney, Ele was charged with grievous sexual assault and rape.
