Everton Blender at Country Farmhouse tonight

 VETERAN roots and culture reggae crooner Everton Blender returns to the spotlight tonight at Country Farmhouse in Kingston, with the launch party of his latest album Higher Heights Revolution.

It will also mark the third in the series of the Conscious Reggae Party.

Blender, who is best remembered for such hits as Ghetto People Song, Mi Nuh Jus a Come, and Lover's Holiday, is expected to use the occasion to rekindle his popularity by lifting the audience to a higher level of consciousness.

Other artistes scheduled to perform are Iba Mahr, Natty Pablo, Sharon Tucker, Vania Colors, Brian Gold, DubKore and Poet Cherry Natural with backing band Chakula. Complemented by selectors Mutabaruka, Gabre Selassie and Lee Tafari.

Reggaelutionary speaker Errol McDonald (aka Chakula) will offer a cultural perspective on the theme 'September in Ethiopia'.

Donations will be solicited in aid of Uprising Roots Band who lost their home and studio in July this year.
