Dancehall veteran and entrepreneur General Degree is looking to quench more than just his musical thirst with his latest business venture.

The Hold You Tonight DJ has recently launched 'Quenchable' - which is the DJ's own local brand of purified drinking water. Quenchable is already located in stores and Degree is looking to follow up with a flavoured waterline under the same name.

According to Degree, the first flavour, 'Apple Red', is currently in the works to be released this month.

"I've been in the music business for such a long time that I just feel the need to do something different," Degree told The WEEKEND STAR, adding that he generally goes after whatever he has his mind set on.

According to Degree, he crossed all his T's and dotted all his I's when it came around to establishing his Quenchable brand and the products have been approved by the Bureau of Standards. The prolific businessman also revealed plans to extend his offerings of food products, mentioning possible vinegar and ketchup products.

Quenchable is Degree's sophomore business venture following his clothing line, 'Reh Geh', which the artiste also hopes to extend.

The dancehall veteran has not neglected his music career, however, and is gearing up to release his album entitled Snapple Dapple: Volume 1.

"I would consider this one of my more mature albums. I look at things more differently now than once upon a time and it shows in the album. There's more social commentary on it and more of what I would call "serious lyrics" but still some fun stuff." Degree said.

Cherish, a single from the album, was recently released and Degree has filmed a video for the song Fatty Boom Boom which he says will be released around the same time as the album. Degree revealed that the video is one that fans should anticipate as it is a comical gem.

The album is scheduled to be released before the artiste leaves for a three-week tour in Europe on November 21.
