International recording superstar, Beenie Man, has been experiencing a resurgence in his career over the past few months. He has been able to secure his United States work permit, and his new single, 'Dweet Again', is one of the hottest singles scorching FM radio in Jamaica today.
"The bookings are coming in right now. The demand for the deejay is high in the US and Europe. The promoters in the US are happy because they can start planning festivals again because they have a headliner who can pull thousands to the parks," a representative of MD Entertainment said in a release.
Beenie Man performed on a series of shows over the past three weeks that saw him criss-crossing two continents, with shows in the USA, Canada, and Europe.
"He performed with Wiz Khalifa on a big show the other day in Europe. He was simply brilliant at his first show in the US, and he is doing well in Jamaica. Red Stripe is using his single, Summer is Here, for their promotions for their new Red Stripe Light Flavour this Summer. Dweet Again mash up Uptown Mondays this week again. The streets lock. Right now, Beenie Man is hot again. Right now, him ah dweet again," Beenie Man's manager, Rohan 'Blue' Smith, said.
The single, Dweet Again, which is on the Chase Millz/Jah Snowcone Ent imprint, is no.1 on the HYPE TV charts, no. 5 on the Fiwi Choice Top Ten charts and no. 9 on the ER dancehall charts on TVJ. Another single, Wine, featuring Boom Boom, is also no. 15 on the HYPE TV Top 20 charts. The Summer is Here video was released last week, and has several thousand hits on YouTube.

Beenie Man headed to Orlando, Florida, last weekend, to perform alongside Lady Saw. He then returned to Jamaica last week to close the show on Dancehall Night on Reggae Sumfest 2012 in Montego Bay, St James. In August, he returns to perform at Club Sin in Huddersfield, United Kingdom, on August 10.
