Dancehall artiste Junior'Tanto Blacks' Henry has distanced himself from allegations that he dissed fellow dancehall artiste Mr Vegas and Mutabaruka on social-networking site Twitter. According to Tanto Blacks, he would never diss a fellow artiste because he is not that type of person.

"That account name Tanto Blacks on Twitter is not me. The other day Mr somebody call mi and ask mi how come mi a diss Vegas and a sey bad things bout him, and how mi a sey Mutabaruka a dutty foot dread," he told The STAR.

According to Tanto Blacks, the allegations are both embarrassing and surprising because he has nothing but respect for his peers in the entertainment industry.

"Mutabaruka a somebody who mi a listen to from mi a pickney, a real icon dat and Mr Vegas a somebody who mi look up to and wudda waah duh a song wid, how mi fi diss dem people deh," he said.

Tanto Blacks also claims that persons have been sending threats to him because of the current misrepresentation being facilitated by the mysterious Twitter account.

"Somebody call mi a sey dem ago hurt mi fi diss Vegas and another one call mi a sey how come mi tek money from dem fi come perform a dem show and mi nuh turn up and dem sinting deh all radio DJs the person a diss. Tell mi now, why would I be dissing somebody who work pon radio and a dem a play mi tune," he said.

Other persons who Tanto Blacks claims have been offended by the controversial Twitter account are radio personality Ms Kitty and Big Yard Records.

"Mi just want the people dem know sey a nuh mi, I am not on Twitter. The only Twitter mi know a when mi guh pan stage and flash mi hand dem and sey twittttterrr. Whosoever that is doing that please stop because you are hurting my character, a kill yu waah people kill mi," he said.

The artiste expressed that he has no idea who the culprit or culprits are; however, he feels that the plot has been motivated by jealously.

"I feel is bad mind people who don't want to see mi reach nuh wey and don't want mi achieve," he said.

Tanto Blacks also said that promoters, who want to book him for shows, should not do so via social networks.

"If yu waah book mi, contact me personally or contact Sharon Burke through Solid agency," he said.

The artiste recently returned from Antigua where he made his overseas debut. He is also slated to perform at Water Splash in March of this year, and will host his birthday party on March 10 at Black Bambo Lounge, Old
