TWO separate venues, appreciative audience and a high-energy performance is said to have been the elements which came together for singjay I-Octane as he performed in St Kitts and Costa Rica.
His first of the two performances came in Costa Rica where he performed on More Life Fest 2K11 on September 30 alongside fellow Jamaican Tanya Stephens.
The artiste, born Biyome Muir, reportedly entered the stage to loud cheers from his fans and he proceeded to dish out one conscious number after another.
Days later, October 2, he was at the Beamount Park Race Track in the Caribbean isle of St Kitts performing on the So Long To Summer Bash.
Following the excitement of the days horse racing, I-Octane delivered a sterling hour-long set to an audience estimated at over 4,000.
So impressive was he that the promoters didn't waste any time in confirming him, one year early, for the annual event.
The organisers weren't the only ones who were in for a surprise on the event as the artiste himself was a bit taken off guard.
"I couldn't believe that my fans were singing along to songs which had just been released only a few weeks ago," I-Octane said.
Among the songs he unleashed on his St Kitts fans were Burn Your Bridges, Licki Licki, Eye A Cry and of course favourites such as Puff It, My Life and Study Yuh Friend Dem.
Now back on The Rock, the Digicel brand ambassador shot a medley video for his latest singles for producers Good Good Promotions Enemy, Yard and Nah Eat featuring Versatile.
Directed by Mykal Cushnie, it was shot on location in Morant Bay, St Thomas.
"We had a great time shooting the video. Honestly, I think my fans will love this one," said Octane about the video which he noted should be ready to premiere real soon.
