At today’s session of the Vybz Kartel murder trial members of the media and the public were barred from the proceedings due to the sensitive nature of evidence to be given. Detective Sergeant Patrick Linton was to take the stand however the Prosecution explained to the Judge that due to “National Security” issues the session should be held without the presence of the press. The Judge then asked the Jury to withdraw temporarily and for the media and public to leave the court room.
