Khago pleased with career progress

International recording artiste Khago is pleased with the progress of his career over the last couple of months. He has performed on shows in two continents and his latest hit, Tun Up De Ting on the Overproof, is getting airplay on HOT 97, a major urban radio station in New York.

"I am finally getting to go out in the world and perform for my fans overseas, and doing radio shows in New York, Boston, Connecticut, and more people are listening to and getting to know Khago. The other day I was in New York and hear dem play Tun Up De Ting on the HOT 97 radio station and it was a great feeling, the ting gone international now," he said in a release.

He recently performed to raise funds for charity during Busta's Nyamins and Jammins show in Montego Bay, St James.

"It was a great experience, getting to interact with the Montego Bay community and to raise funds to assist the 4-H Clubs in Jamaica," he said in a release.

Khago recently performed at a successful show in Washington, DC, and will share the stage with deejay Flippa Mafia in Philadelphia over the Halloween weekend.

The singjay will also be performing at shows in the Caribbean over the next couple ofweeks with gigs in Antigua and St Lucia. He also has a number of shows in the United States with shows booked forFort Lauderdale, Fla, Spring-field,MA, and Bridgeport, Connecticut during the month of November.He will also be making a promotionalappearance on the Boston HOT 97 show on November 22 alongside hip-hop acts.

He is not managed by any entity but his PR/bookings are beinghandled by publicist Claude Mills and American businessman Corey Todd. His songs are doing well locally with Khago's Tun Up De Ting hit on the Overproof riddim currently #1 on the ER Dancehall charts for two consecutive weeks, while holding down #2 on the Fiwi Choice Top Ten charts. The singjay's Blood a Boil hit is also #3 on the FIWIChoice Top Ten chart.

His latest releases include Tax inna My World for Seanizzle Records, If This Is Not Love for Notnice/Corey Todd Records, Fresh Long Time for Push a Yute Records and Purple Touch for Truckback Records. He came to prominence with the breakout song Nah Sell Out Mi Friend for Seanizzle Records.

He is currently promoting a video for the single, If This Is Not Love for producer Ainsley 'Notnice' Morris.

"The song is doing very well in the Caribbean and is #1 on a radio station chart in Antigua," Khago said.
