Khago was all smiles as he walked away with the award for Most Consistent Performer of the Year at the Linkage Awards, held on Saturday night in New York City, at the Thornton High School in Mount Vernon.

Khago won the award over the likes of I-Octane and KipRich.

According to the hard-working singjay, he is very appreciative of the fact that he won the award.

"I feel very happy to win this award, I really appreciate it. It shows that there are people out there that recognise the work I'm doing. This is good encouragement; it makes me want to work even harder this year.

Khago was also one of the star performers at the event, as he rocked the house with his monster hit Nah Sell Out.
