After Lewis' complaint that deejay keeps dissing him
International recording artiste KipRich has dismissed L.A. Lewis' allegations that he disrespected him during a recent telephone conversation as another 'shameless publicity stunt by 'the graffiti artiste'.
In an article published in The STAR on Thursday, March 29, Lewis complained that KipRich had been hurling 'disses' at him for some time now, the latest being in a telephone conversation they had.
However, KipRich, in a release to the media said, "Mi no have time fi L.A. Lewis, ah the gal dem mi a pree. Mi caan paint, so how mi fi clash wid a graffiti artiste?"
The Talk Mi Mind deejay, who scored two top-10 hits last year, says he is firmly focused on dominating the local scene with a slew of new songs. The deejay bankrolled a new video for his popular song, See It Clear,this week, jetting in 'Celeb', a US-based director affiliated to Heavy Films, to shoot the project.
"The video sell off, mi swag buck inna it, the ting tun up right now," KipRich said.
In the meantime, Kipo's video for Nuh Bruk Di Law raced to No. 4 on the CVM Hitlist chart this week. Other hot singles to look out for include Da Wine De on Seanizzle's 'Wet Up' rhythm, which has been getting a lot of rotation in recent weeks, and another song called Tief a Touch.
"The gal dem love the Tief a Touch on the 'Sex Tape' riddim. Ah dat dem a work wid right now on the stage show dem," he said.
The deejay will be recording singles for Billboard chart-topping producer Rohan 'Snowcone' Fuller later this month, and will be recording on the Mercury rhythm for the new record label, Chase Mills Records as well.
He will be one of the late additions to the annual 'Best of the Best' concert in Miami in May. He is also booked to perform at a show in Martinique later this month.
