Leave freaky artistes alone - Tiana defends oral sex songs

Some female artistes are defending J Amsterdam following the sinjay's decision to push dancehall's boundaries by releasing music endorsing oral sex.

According to dancehall artiste Tiana, Jamaica's society is biased because males are allowed to openly request oral sex from women, yet when a male says he wants to return the favour, that becomes a problem.

The artiste also condemned males who took to social networks to express hate and post comments that were violent in response to J Amsterdam's single Gyal Come Wine Inna Mi Face.

"I don't feel they should bash him because if one of the big artistes should come out and admit that he is freaky, you would find that a lot of other established male artistes would start admitting that they are freaky as well. This society is biased. If you are going to bash women for wanting oral sex returned, then you should bash the males, too. Artistes like Vybz Kartel, Konshens, Demarco, and Alkaline have all stated that they want women to perform oral sex on them. So why can't women receive it too?," she asked.

The deejay says explicit content in general should be kept away from minors. However, if adults want to listen to music that promotes oral sex, they should be free to do so without receiving a backlash.

"It's his views and there should be freedom of speech. The song itself could have been better, but I am cheering for him because he has come out of the dark, and there are many more Jamaican men who like oral sex," she said.

Tiana believes some Jamaican men will indulge in oral sex, however, they will pretend in the public space that they are against the practice. The deejay says some Jamaican men did not want to publicly comment on her song Freaky Man (Freaky Gyal Pt 3) on YouTube, but they sent private messages to her cell phone saying that they loved the concept. She sees that as an indication that there exists a strong level of hypocrisy on the part of Jamaican men as it relates to their views on performing oral sex.

Guzu Musiq's recording artiste, Destiny Sparta, last year admitted in her collaboration with Tommy Lee Sparta, Stylysh, and Tabeta called Real Bad Gyal that she performed oral sex on her man. She was also singled out by J Amsterdam as an artiste with whom he would want to collaborate.

Destiny was unavailable for comment at press time, however, she took to Facebook to express her support for J Amsterdam's single. "Mi listen it mi boss ... mek di man express himself ... nobody has a problem with Lil Wayne so who a bun him fi low him, di woman dem a cheer fi him," she posted.

Tiana is currently promoting singles Broad Out and Stress Fre.Freaky Man was released in 2013 and is a counteraction to Vybz Kartel's Freaky Gyal. In the single, she lends her support to males who perform oral sex on their female partners.

Recording artiste and businesswoman, Angelina, performed a song called Deep Throat It at Sting 2012 in which she bragged about her skills at performing oral sex. She received no backlash from the audience. In fact, her lyrics supporting oral sex got the the strongest reception from the audience.
