Mavado is no stranger to the music industry, whether you love hip hop, R&B, reggae or techno. Currently signed to hip hop mogul DJ Khaled's We the Best Music, dancehall superstar Mavado continues to break barriers and raise the bar.

Last week, while in New York, Mavado recorded with hip-hop icon LL Cool J. The song is said to be a single that will shake the music world. 'The song is one everyone will enjoy. LL Cool J, loved by the ladies and respected by the thugs dem, you done know, it's a good look. It was an honour and a joy to have the opportunity, and to know an icon like LL Cool J," Mavado said.

On August 3, Mavado is set to perform with his band on this year's Reggae in the Park Festival at the Mann Center, Philadelphia. It's been a little over one year since Philadelphia has seen the dancehall superstar and should be in for a treat.

Mavado is known for a plethora of hits including I'm So Special, Dreaming, Delilah and Give It All To Me, featuing Nikki Minaj.

At the festival, Mavado will share the stage with reggae icons Steel Pulse and Inner Circle, as well as the royal Family of reggae, Morgan Heritage, Jewish reggae singer Matisyahu and fellow dancehall artiste Konshens.
