Mavado’s ongoing assault trial has been set for mediation.

Vado’s attorney, Peter Champagnie tells us more.

The assault charges stemming from an incident which took place at the birthday party of Alliance leader Bounty Killer on June 13 2011.

Mavado was charged for assaulting a police officer during an alleged altercation at the QUAD nightclub in Kingston during which his friend, Conroy “Connie” Edwards fatally wounded.

Mavado has maintained his innocence.
