The Kartel murder trial continued this morning with further evidence from cell phones seized from the artiste and his four co-accused.
The phones were seized in August 2011 during the apprehension of Kartel and others. The court this morning heard text messages between Clive Lizard Williams and his girlfriend Onika Jackson as well as from Shawn ‘Storm’ Campbell and an unnamed person. The text messages between Mr Williams and Ms Jackson were mostly frantic pleas for help.

In the case of Shawn Storm reference was made to an unidentified stolen item, however no reference was made to the receiver of the messages.
