Recording artiste Navino has made a departure from the Aidonia-led Jag One Productions (J.O.P.).

According to manager Patrick 'Roach' Samuels, Aidonia approached him seeking help with Navino's career and he obliged, signing the young act to Justus Arison's JA Productions.

However, about three months ago, after being excluded from a tour with Aidonia, Navino and Roach both noticed some 'vibes' and decided to leave the camp in search of greener pastures.

Navino said he has since released a song, Who God Bless, in which he tells why he left the group.

However, Navino said, "At the end of the day mi nah bash Aidonia. Mi still respect him but mi a deal wid business now. Anuh food fi di poor thing now."

He has relinquishe the title of 'First Son', recently bestowed on him by Aidonia, saying, "Mi a 24, suh di son move on now. Yuh ago live a yuh people house forever? Right now mi reach a point weh mi waan know wah mi a work for."

Navino shared that the formality in the structure of the group was not the best as the majority of its members are unsigned and oftentimes have no set income from shows they perform at.

"Mi deh inna a crew weh nuh man nuh sign. Mi a guh a show an nuh know wah mi a get. Mi stand up and question it sometime and Aidonia a seh things ago happen...but when?" he said.

"Mi still live wid mi people dem and when bills time come and mamma ask if mi can put a little ting to it, mi nuh have nuh money. She a seh a better mi guh look a work. Dem things deh break mi heart. A nuff time mi come from show and see mi light cut off and mi mother a cook pon coal stove. Things need fi change," he added.

Roach also believes Navino made the right move in leaving, as he questioned, "Which artiste around Aidonia buss since Aidonia buss? The youth (Navino) leave him with respect. Him have him son fi feed and take care of, Aidonia nuh have fowl fi throw corn gi," he said.

Navino's recent recordings include Age Is Just A Number, Live Forever, Real Friends and a song on JA Productions' Blessings rhythm.

Numerous telephone calls to a number Aidonia's brother/road manager, 'Lav', gave The STAR to contact the deejay, went unanswered.
