Dancehall recording artiste and head of the KeepLeft Records label, Craig Parks, more popularly known as Leftside, is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated debut studio album Split Personality due out in May.
The 12-track album comes on the heels of several successful projects from Leftside, which includes a series of chart-topping videos, including Hold Me Tight alongside labelmate Syon, and This Girl which is currently number three on the HYPE TV VTX Charts.
According to Leftside, the album will not disappoint.
"This album is what the fans have been waiting on for a while now. It will have a number of new songs as well as previously released tracks such like Back It Up featuring Sean Paul which was an international hit. The rest of the tracks will remain a secret and the only way to find out is to purchase the album," he said.
Leftside, who recently performed with Canadian R&B songstress Jully Black at the annual Jazz and Blues Festival, was recently nominated for International Video Of The Year at the third Annual Cari Vibez Video Web Awards 2012. The nomination was for his steamy, Latin-infused This Girl music video, which was directed last year by Chris 'Icey Jace' Campbell.
With the new year still in its first quarter, Leftside stated it's all about the team in 2012.
"Right now I'm putting all my energy in KeepLeft Records, taking the label along with my team to the next level is the plan for this year. We looking to infiltrate that mainstream international market and we not deviating from that focus," Leftside said.
