AFTER almost two decades in the music business, seven studio albums and strings of collaborations, LUST member Tony Curtis recently released his EP entitled Fight It on GreenYard Records via iTunes.

The five-track album is a fusion of modern roots and neoclassical dancehall featuring dancehall icons Cutty Ranks and Burro Banton. According to the reggae singer, the title track is his uplifting answer to the recession in the world today. Curtis says the EP is flavoured with tracks done with the ladies in mind, like Wine Fi Mi and Irresistable.

Tony Curtis emerged on the music scene in the early 1990s and joined forces the fellow entertainer Jigsy King. The union saw them releasing hits including Butterfly, Real Ting, My Sound A Murder, and Ping.

As a solo artiste, his hits include Faith, 18 Yards, High Grade, For Your Love, My God is Real, Stronger, Jah I Thank You, Do You Want To, Sailing, If You Were Here, What A Feeling, featuring Machel Montano, and Missing You, a collaboration with ARP and Beenie Man.

Little over a decade ago, Tony Curtis became a member of the reggae quartet LUST (Lukie-D, Thriller-U, Singing Melody and Tony) whose rendition of Air Supply’s Just As I Am won the 2008 Reggae Song Of The Year at The Excellence in Music and Entertainment Awards. The group has two studio albums Hardware and Sweetness Of Your Love.
