Rumours that deejay Potential Kidd was arrested on the weekend are not true.
This was confirmed by both Potential Kidd and his manager Angeletta McKenzie.
When contacted, McKenzie told The STAR, "I've also been hearing that. That's a rumour. I don't know where they got it from. I know he was at the police station doing some business."
The A Yah Suh Nice artiste also gave similar comments saying, "No man. A guh mi guh dung a di station (Denham Town Police Station) fi look bout a permit fi mi mother. Wah day she fi keep something an' true some vibes it neva get fi keep."
He was referring to a dance named 'Potential Yah Suh Nice' to be held at Vin Lawrence Park, First Street, Kingston 12.
Potential Kidd has been enjoying the attention he generated after his runaway hit song spread like wildfire in dances and parties and on radio stations islandwide. He aims to follow up his success with recent songs such as Apple My Baby for Seanizzle Records.
