Rita Marley Addresses Controversy At 'Marley' Premier

Rita Marley has addressed the controversial issue surrounding the red-carpet affair held last week at the Emancipation Park to celebrate the premier of the documentary Marley.

The widow of reggae legend, Bob Marley came under fire after some Rastafarians who attended the event, openly expressed their disappointment at the red, gold and green carpet used.

However, according to Rita Marley she had no intention to disrespect. Rita addressed the issue during the Running African programme on Sunday (22/04/12) with Andrea Williams-Green.

Rita Marley also talked about how the idea for the red, green and gold carpet came about.
