Reggae singer Romain Virgo will kick off his annual European tour today at Wolf Roots Rock Reggae festival in Germany.
Virgo will visit several European countries including Holland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Norway.
According to Virgo, European fans have consistently supported his career, and he looks forward to performing for them each year.
"I have been touring Europe every year since 2010. It is always a pleasure performing for fans all over the world," he said.
The singer will be accompanied by his The Unit Band on the latest trek. The tour is scheduled to wrap August 17 at Rototom Sunsplash in Spain.
The Vikings recording artiste, who won Digicel Rising Stars in 2007, has had a prolific career. Among his long string of hits is a cover of Adele's Don't You Remember, Rich In Love, Rain Is Falling, Mi Caan Sleep, Live Mi Life and I Know Better.
His most recent hit is a cover of Michael Bolton's Soul Provider. The song was produced by Silly Walks Discotheque of Germany. It is featured on the 'Brighter Days' rhythm.
Virgo recently released Stay With Me, a cover of British soul singer Sam Smith's Billboard and UK-charting single. A video, directed by Darren Scott, is to be released this weekend.
Money Target, Encore and General are other recent singles from Virgo.
"General talks about loyalty and friendship. I have always wanted to write a song about this and, so far, it's been getting a lot of airplay. We just completed the video, which was directed by Sasha Bling, for Bling Blang Productions, and it will be ready in about three weeks time," said Virgo.
