Nationwide News is reporting that veteran journalist Michael Sharpe who anchors TVJ's flagship news programme Prime Time News was slapped with an assault charge recently. Sharpe a District Constable was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm after a recommendation from the Director of Public Prosecutions on August 30, 2013. The veteran journalist who has been accused of assaulting a female is to appear in the St. Catherine Criminal Court court on October 8, 2013.
