Vybz Kartel was again denied bail.

Lawyers representing the embattled dancehall deejay today made an application for bail, a day after Kartel was rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital under heavy police security after complaining about chest pains.

Christian Tavares-Finson a member of Vybz Kartel’s legal team explains why the deejay was denied bail.

Meanwhile, Vybz Kartel’s lawyer Christain Tavares-Finson has informed Music News that Kartel’s health seems to be in tiptop shape and that the deejay is awaiting test results.

Kartel has been in police lockup since October 2011 where he’s being charged for two separate murder charges.

The trial is set for November 18 to December 5.
