Controversial deejay Vybz Kartel was granted bail in the sum of $3 million when he appeared in the Home Circuit Court today.

He was granted bail for the second time on the murder charge relating to the death of Barrington 'Bossie' Burton who was shot dead in Gregory Park, St Catherine in July last year.

Vybz Kartel’s lawyer Tom Tavares-Finson says a second bail application was made following a request by the Prosecution. Tavares-Finson explains.

He is to return to court on April 13.

Vybz Kartel remains in jail as he faces another murder charge in relation to the death of Clive 'Lizard' Williams. The deejay is also charged with perverting the course of justice and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
