WORLD ANTI-DOPING AGENCY THREATENS TO EXPEL JAMAICA FROM NEXT OLYMPIC GAMES

Jamaica has been warned by the World Anti-Doping Agency that it risked being expelled from the next Olympics and several other major competitions following a recent revelation by former JADCo executive Renee Anne Shirley.
WADA stated if the country fails to address several failings highlighted by Shirley, it would deem JADCo as non-compliant with the WADA code and could see sprint legend Usain Bolt and several other elite athletes being barred from competing at championships, the British Telegraph reported. Shirley in a Sports Illustrated article revealed several failings of JADCo which only conducted one just one-out-of-competition testing in the five months leading up to the London 2012 games.
