He has explored all aspects of the 'wifey and matey' battle, so now selector turned artiste ZJ Liquid says he is tackling different topics.

The artiste recently released a more controversial Beat Skinz on Seanizzle's 'Sunrise' rhythm and Everyday that shows off his 'loving' side.

"Beat Skinz is kinda controversial, more of a sexual song instead of a wifey type of vibe that you would expect from Liquid. It clean but you know what it mean," he told THE STAR.

"As an artiste you have to show growth. One of my original style and vibe weh mi just a try put out there, not something weh mi a follow trends. It's been a slang but not so amplified over the years."

On Everyday, Liquid drew for his singing talents on the single that was produced by Don Corleon. He said it is a very personal song where he is singing about love.

"Is a singing vibe but it's a nice dancehall rhythm. Music for me is more like a mood thing. You have to be growing and really bring you to the table," he said, noting that he has been doing work with producers like Christopher Birch, TJ Records and Baby G.

In addition to a range of new releases, Liquid will also be in the United States for three shows during the Thanksgiving celebrations. He will headline a show in Chicago today and performs in Miami tomorrow and Saturday.

Liquid added that the music video for Party Mi Seh with Patexx was released recently and the 'Matrimoney' rhythm medley video is also doing well overseas.
