Sergeant Jubert Llewellyn, who is at the centre of a controversy which has enveloped opposition politician Daryl Vaz, Senior Superintendent of Police James Forbes and businessmen Bruce Bicknell. The case stems from a speeding ticket Llewellyn gave to Bicknell during a traffic stop along the Sir Florizel Glasspole Highway in Kingston on April 9. It's alleged that Bicknell offered Llewellyn 2 thousand dollars not to prosecute him for speeding. Prosecutors are alleging that Vaz and Forbes tried to influence Llewellyn to drop the charge.
