Bounty Killer and upcoming singer Nancy 'Gabriel' Gordon have teamed up to do a remake of one of Jamaica's biggest hit singles of the early '60s, 'My Boy Lollipop' by Millie Small.

Now, the remake of the song , since being recorded this month, has already been getting rave reviews.

According to Riddimstream.com, which has been blasting the song globally since its release, the song has the potential to be dancehall's biggest remake.

"This is probably dancehall's biggest remake yet. Over 50,000 people have already listened to the song worldwide. Phone calls and emails are being sent from places such as Namibia, England, and Europe showing interest in the song," the site said.

Producer of the track, Leebert 'Gibby' Morrison, believes the song will do well, and expressed joy at Bounty Killer being represented on the track. According to the producer, Bounty Killer is the right person.

"Since the initial recording of the song by Gabriel, I deeply felt that Bounty Killer was the right artiste to represent. Remember, this is a dancehall mix, and as such I personally believe Bounty Killer is the best choice and sound we need to give the song its edge and appeal," he said.

He also disclosed that persons who listened to music religiously and in variation would appreciate the product and the voice of new singer Gabriel.

"If one does not appreciate music and the variety of flavours that comes with it, then they will not appreciate an artiste like Gabriel. She is not just an everyday sound. You do not hear artistes like Gabriel every day," he said.
