Agent sasco collabs with another US Rapper

Dancehall artiste Agent Sasco, otherwise known as Assassin, has made another step into the hip-hop music industry, following his collaboration with Kanye West in 2013 called 'I'm In It', which was featured on the gold-selling album 'Yeezus'.

The deejay has been featured on another rap record, this time with veteran rap artiste Raekwon and Canadian R&B billboard-charting singer Melanie Fiona.

Raekwon is a member of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan, a rap group which was certified four-times platinum by the RIAA for their album Wu-Tang Forever, released in 1997.

The single featuring Agent Sasco is called Soundboy Kill It, and sees the rapper and deejay delivering hard-core lyrics to give listeners a dub-plate-inspired effort. In the song, Agent Sasco belts: "Sound fi dead the whol' clique a dem, when mi sey di sound dead all di tweeter dem".

The STAR spoke to Agent Sasco, and he says other international projects and collaborations are in the pipeline.

"I was in the studio in New York, and they played me the song and said I should do something on it, and as simple as that, we recorded it. We give thanks for the opportunities that come along to represent our music on a certain level. What I want to do, and will continue to do when I collaborate with rap artistes, is to represent dancehall and Jamaican culture. So, yu nah catch me rapping. And we have other things in the pipeline that we can't speak about as yet, but the massive can look out for more Assassin-hip-hop fusion," the artiste said.

The deejay was also featured on US-based hip-hop radio station Hot 97.
